Coastal Canine Hope is a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing needy canines a second chance. All accepted dogs are placed in good homes - guaranteed - no matter how long it takes. If they cannot remain in their adopted home, for whatever reason, we require that they are returned with no questions asked.

Coastal Animal Hospital provides at no cost, any necessary vaccinations, parasite testing or neutering, as well as basic command training so that the new owner is ensured a happy and healthy companion for many years to come.

Our 30th pet, a little Yorkie named Chasen, was placed into home in Southern Shores, and has since moved to Elizabeth City. A return-adoption named Frankie was embraced into Johnny's (our Kennel Attendant's) home and helps take care of his Mom. And recently, a beautiful Himalayan feline named Miss Lilly (a regular patient of ours whose owner was broken-hearted that she couldn't care for her anymore) was placed in a loving home in New England.

Others that may need loving homes soon...

Please call, or visit us often to see if we have any other dogs available for adoption. Or check our bulletin board in the hospital. Coastal is part of a wonderful network of people who pass information about pets in need, as well as people looking for a new pet. We regularly have information from the ASPCA, Feline Hope, as well as many private owners.

Thank you to everyone who has supported our passion through actions, donations, and kind words. Without your continued support we would not be able to accommodate the large number of adoptions we accept.
